After the release of chapters one through fourteen, I have given my readers a month to digest the story so far and possibly buy it online as I know some people did.
Now, I would like to suggest a creative writing competition for anyone who is interested. Since chapter fourteen ended on a cliffhanger, I would like to present you with the opportunity to decide what happens next according to your own imagination.
Here is the end of chapter fourteen, as a reminder:
Suddenly, just as he was about to scream at her for being so insolent, Max behind me collapsed on the bottom of the vent noisily. I turned around to see what had happened and was confronted by a wall of white gas. I gasped, but that was foolish.
With sleeping gas you should never try to breathe it in.
I sank to the floor in despair but managed to stay awake just long enough to see that the person picking me up was Sparkal, wearing a hideous gas mask.
The winner of the competition will receive a 'BIA standard issue' t-shirt (I'll put up a picture next weekend), their entry on this blog for all of my readers to see, and a chance to create a character of their own to appear in book number four, Dance by the Flame. Runners-up may also get a chance to have their entries shown on the blog.
